An incontrovertible and emblematic object from the French design from the 1960's, the helicoid staircase from Roger Tallon is shaped like a plane propeller. Ordered as a module, the cast polished aluminium steps from the model M400 have not been drawn, nor sculptured: their shape was obtained by tension of a rubber band on the section, which allows to give lightness to the structure.
Without a hand rail and made on measure, the staircase consists of twelve modular steps (including a landing step) which fit together on a steel axis and can be adjusted in height.
